Our community grew this week; we began using one of our greatest gifts of hospitality. Sunday night Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph arrived, just in time for the celebration of Sukkot!Monday we welcomed John and Micah Dunn and Anja.
Anja is Swiss-German and has been a great part of active intercession this week. As Anja has come here for a week of refreshing, the Lord has used her to bless our community as we see the powerful anointing the Swiss carry.
All of our guests jumped in to our daily activities such as the finishing touch of pruning the tree. We also built our beautiful sukkah out of the maple branches.
Mr. Rudolph shared of the significance of the holiday and the Jewish traditions such as being able to see the stars through the roof to remind us of Gods promise to Abraham.
Genesis 15:5
He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
Many families took the opportunity to take a family picture under the sukkah and we enjoyed ourselves out doors at sunset.
Then we enjoyed dinner together along with some yummy rose. We love our Jewish holidays!

There was more work to do outdoors on Tuesday: moving the branches and leaves to a burn pile. Mr. Rudolph had fun giving his granddaughters rides on the “John Deere” tractor and driving around the beautiful grounds of the Villa.
Worship has been moving at a fast momentum. Everyday is like opening a new box of treasure from the Lord as He sends down revelation and uniting us together. Jon Dunn brought the word of God, stirring and edifying the team as he spoke Gods purpose and delight over each of us.
More next time...
